Ashley Cooke Scores First No. 1 With ‘Your Place’
Ashley Cooke is celebrating a huge career milestone this week. The rising country star has received her first-ever No. 1 hit on country radio with “Your Place,” which is featured on her 2023 debut album, Shot In The Dark.

Not only did “Your Place” garner the singer-songwriter her first No. 1, but the infectious hit also won her a CMT Award earlier this year for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year. Cooke even went on to be nominated for New Female Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards in May.

“Seeing my name at the top of today’s chart… man, if only you could’ve been a fly on the wall for every moment leading up to it. the smokey bars, the alarms before the sun on 2 hours of sleep, 3+ cities/radio stations a day, less than 12 hours at home in between radio tour and regular tour, the exhaustion, the laughter, making home in Hampton Inns, the rental car conversations.. the best moments with the best people,” Cooke captioned an Instagram post.
She continued, “My favorite thing about this career is getting to enjoy the mountain top with the people you fought through the climb with and I’d place my bet on the @bigloud promo team every time. the best team and the greatest friendships we’ve built on the road to this first time ringing the bell.”

Cooke will depart on her very own headlining ‘Your Place Tour’ in October through the top of 2025 with special guest Greylan James. She will make stops in Seattle, Kansas City, Fort Myers, Chicago, New York City, and more.
