The 28-year-old first revealed the news of her new project at her fan club party in Nashville during CMA Fest, earlier this month. PB2 will follow Block’s 2022 debut album, Welcome To The Block Party, with her hits “Just About Over You,” and “My Bar.”
“It’s been a while leading up to this next era for me and I’m so excited it’s finally here,” says Block in a press statement.
She continued, “I wanted to drop three songs that showcase three different sides of me as an artist. ‘Apartment’ is my vulnerable, heart-on-my-sleeve side. ‘Bad Guy’ is the sassy anthem that I want to dance to all night long in a club. ‘Hell Out of a Hometown’ is the country girl inside of me that’s always evolving. This is the start of an ongoing story so make sure y’all pay close attention. Here’s to PB2!”
The five-track EP features Block’s current single, “Good On You.” It will also include “Hey Jack,” released back in November, which she says was the “start of a new era” and that she could not “be more excited about it.”
Most recently, Block wrapped up her headlining Hey Jack Tour with Ryan Larkins as support. Fans can catch her out on the road this summer for select festivals including Country Jam in Colorado, Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, Rock The South in Alabama, and more.
