Devin Dawson And Wife Leah Expecting First Baby
Devin Dawson and his wife Leah had a big snow day announcement on Monday (1/15). The couple shared the news via Instagram that they are expecting their first child together, a baby girl, due in July of 2024.

Dawson and Leah’s post flooded with comments from friends and fellow country stars, including Shay Mooney saying, “BRO!!!!!! Congrats man.” Craig Campbell wrote “Come on #FamilyMan.” Adam Doleac said “Daddyyyyy Devvvvvv!” Brandon Ratcliff responded, “Coupla girl dads! Congratulations y’all So happy for you!”
Now that the couple’s big secret is finally out, we have to say, their relationship has been special from the very start. According to People, the Dawsons tied the knot in October of 2019 in Franklin, Tennessee after two and a half years of dating and while both attending Belmont University.
When Dawson proposed to Sykes in March 2019, she revealed to her followers with a post that she had called her dad about him after nine days of knowing him and that “there has never been a doubt in my mind.”
The Nashville songwriter’s most recent credits include Cody Johnson’s “People In The Back,” Restless Road’s “10 Things” and “That Town and You,” and three songs on Dustin Lynch’s latest album Killed The Cowboy, the title track, “Lone Star,” and “Only Girl In Town.”
In 2022, Dawson revealed to his fans that he was in the process of “dealing with Dysphonia and learning how to sing again.” Dysphonia is a muscle condition that affects how people talk and sing and it was “severely affecting Dawson’s speaking voice and singing voice and the time he released the statement.
Dawson released his debut studio album titled Dark Horse in 2018, featuring the lead singles “All On Me” and “Asking For A Friend.” He released a follow-up EP in 2021 called The Pink Slip, which you can check out here.
