The tornados that hit Tennessee killed six people and sent dozens of residents to area hospitals while causing devastation in several counties. Now, country stars including Dierks Bentley and Lady A are the latest to post to their hundreds of thousands of followers about how to help and donate to those in need.
Bentley shared a video of himself performing his track “Gold,” the lead single to his 2023 album, Gravel & Gold, with the caption below on Twitter.
“A lot of our neighbors here in #Tennessee could use some extra support after the catastrophic #tornadoes that hit our area. If you are able, please join us in donating to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Every little bit helps.”
Lady A also took to Twitter to share their “12 Days Of Giving” tradition in which they highlight “a few notable charities in the days leading up to Christmas.” Today (12/13), the country trio along with Bentley, highlighted the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
“In response to the devastating tornadoes that struck our Middle Tennessee region this past weekend, the @CFMT have activated their emergency relief funds to aid those affected by the disaster. Being so close to home, we want to highlight them as our first #12DaysofGiving organization,” Lady A shared on Twitter.
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee posted to Facebook, “Give to the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund and together we’ll help survivors and our communities recover from Saturday’s disastrous storms.” Currently, several locations are also looking for volunteers including the city of Springfield to assist with cleanup which you can find more information on here.
