Priscilla Block, Tenille Townes, Caitlyn Smith, and Brittney Spencer are seen in the first look of the episode performing “Silent Night” around a campfire at a house outside of Nashville.
Aside from the beautiful campfire performance, together they also revealed what’s on their Christmas list this year, shared their favorite traditions, and more. According to CMT, the women ran through the song one time before filming.
Townes also performed a “jazzy version” of “The Christmas Song” while at the campfire. Fellow country stars Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, Jon Pardi, Lily Rose, and Tracy Lawrence, among others, have also previously performed on the CMT series.
Earlier this month, Block attended the CMA Awards as a New Artist of the Year nominee and has since kicked off a new era. The 28-year-old released a brand new single titled “Hey, Jack,” co-written with Randy Montana, Dave Cohen, and Jeremy Stover.
Block’s “Hey, Jack” follows the release of her debut album, Welcome To The Party Deluxe Edition, featuring tracks “My Bar,” “Off The Deep End,” and “Wish You Were Whiskey.”
The new Christmas episode of CMT Campfire Sessions is scheduled to air on December 6th at 9 pm ET. Click here for more information.
