Riley Green released two new songs today (4/21); one is called "Raised Up Right." The other is called "God Made A Good Ol' Boy."

Riley posted a tease for the two new songs today on Instagram. He wrote, "Raised Up Right and God Made A Good Ol' Boy are out now… y'all check em out. #countrymusic #raisedupright #godmadeagoodolboy #weouthere."

See that post here.

"Raised Up Right" sings in the first verse, "When Momma used my full name, I knew she meant business / I learned to say, 'Yes sir' from the first time that I didn't / I've felt that bible belt and I know what soap tastes like / I've done my share of wrong, but I was raised up right."

The chorus sings, "Raised up right like my Momma's hands in Sunday mornin' church / Raised up right like my Daddy's can of beer right after work / Like thе flag over the Courthouse еvery mornin' at sunrise / I was raised up right."

Green recently told us there were a few reasons he didn't mind the years he spent working on his music before things started happening. He said, "From the outside, it kinda looks like it happened quickly. But I played for, I guess, eight or ten years, you know, in little small honky-tonk bars in Alabama and Georgia and Mississippi. And I just really did it as a hobby."

He added, "I didn't think anything would ever come from it, so it didn't seem like it took that long cause I did it cause I enjoyed it, and they let me drink for free. "

Riley is currently opening stadium shows for Luke Combs on his 2023 tour. One thing is for sure; Green will not be playing any backstage Pickleball with his band or crew. It turns out Riley is not a fan of the new sports craze.

Green was a guest on the Barstool's Bussin With The Boys podcast recently. He said, "Here's my problem with Pickleball. It's the same problem I have with ping pong or pool, for that matter. It's such a game of skill; if you play it, you can be really good at it."

He added, "I don't like games somebody less athletic than me can beat me in." Riley is a former college football player and is very athletic and into sports. He mostly shares show pics, clips, and his passion for hunting and fishing on his social media.
