Luke Bryan And His Wife Explain Their Valentine’s Absence
Every year on Valentine’s Day, most country music couples share posts with their significant other to social media. This year, Luke Bryan and his wife of 16 years, Caroline, did not post. The couple explained why on her Insta Stories.
On Valentine’s night, Caroline sings softly in a video clip, “It’s Valentine’s Day, and I’m eating a pistachio.” Luke asked, “What are you eating?” She responds, “A nut.”
Then the couple cut to a quick video they filmed in their kitchen. Caroline starts the video by saying, “I’m so oily you could fry chicken on my face.” Then she addresses the issue, “We’ve gotten a lot of comments about not doing a Valentine’s post.” Luke pipes in dryly, “It’s because we don’t love each other.” She laughs, saying, “No, we don’t care, we’re too old, we’ve been together too long, we just don’t think about it.” She then shows Luke across the kitchen island, “And that was a rude comment.” Luke says, “Really? Cheers, happy belated Valentine’s Day, world.”

In December, the couple posted for their 16th wedding anniversary. Luke posted on Instagram, along with a fun photo of the couple dressed up in 1980s garb, “Happy 16th-anniversary love. It is so amazing sharing this life with you. Thank you for putting up with all my craziness I throw your way. I’ve loved you since the second I saw you. It’s truly remarkable what we’ve done together. I love you to the moon and back, and here’s to 100 more. Love you.”
Caroline posted a video collage of images of the happy couple to a Barry White song on her Instagram. She captioned the video, “Sweet 16!!!! Happy anniversary Love Bug…16 years ago, we had zero clue what we were stepping into. The good, the bad, silly moments, and stupid arguments. It’s been worth it all, and I love you more every year! @lukebryan.”
