Kane Brown Talks Pre-Super Bowl Performance, Imagine Dragons

Kane Brown will play the pre-Super Bowl music festival in Phoenix ahead of Sunday’s (2/12) Super Bowl XVII. He said in a recent interview, “I get to play the show before the Super Bowl, and I get to open for Imagine Dragons, which is huge. I actually became friends with their lead singer, and I wrote a song with him.” He added, “I got a couple of friends who are gamers, who’ll be out there, so it’ll be fun to play the show and then go to the game.”

Kane also talked about his Kingsley and Kodi. Jane described what Christmas 2022 was like with the 3-year-old and a 1-year-old. He said, “Kingsley knew how to open presents and what they were. She’s at the point where she’d open one and play with it and leave all the other ones there.” Brown added that this was the first year he and his wife Katelyn used the Elf on the Shelf. He admitted, “We honestly kind of abused it. The Elf’s name was Sparkles. If Kingsley wasn’t eating her dinner, it was like, ‘Sparkles is watching you!’ One night, she wouldn’t eat her food and wanted a cookie. So I sat Sparkles on top of the cookies. Kinglsey saw it, and she ate her dinner. So we definitely abused it.”

Brown posted a fun video of himself doing a dance for his daughters at home on Instagram. His wife asked the girls in the short video, “Is Daddy so silly?” he captioned the cute video, “Safe to say daddy is feeling way better morning dance party!!!!!”

Fans loved the clip, with one commenting, “Working on his dance moves can’t wait to see them moves at the concerts this year.” Another fan said, “OMG! This used to be me with my kids. Note they’re all grown up! Enjoy these moments!… Great parenting!” One more fan wrote with a heart emoji, “Adorable.”

Darius Rucker is definitely country music’s most passionate NFL football fan. He famously said that he has two seasons, “football season and waiting for football season.” A lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, he often sings that National Anthem at their games and did so this past September 2021 when the Dolphins played the Buffalo Bills. When he fronted Hootie and The Blowfish, he wrote the band’s biggest song, “I Only Want To Be With You,” in college when he was so upset that his Dolphins were losing, he started to cry, and his mother called him a baby. Rucker also has his own line of NFL wear.
