At the end of last year, Thomas Rhett set a goal to expand his vocal range. He worked with a vocal coach to hit higher notes than he had before, and he accomplished his goal. So, with 2023 inching closer, we asked Thomas if he had any goals when it comes to his singing for 2023.

Rhett told us, "I think, at least, from a vocal standpoint, I think I want to learn, in the same way, you would want to get 'ripped' in the gym, how to get your voice there, too. You know, like, Thursday and Fridays are always really easy for me, but Saturdays, I tend to wake up kinda strugglin', just kinda hoarse and kinda ratty. And I just kinda wanna learn this year how to just become a little more vocally, like my stamina to get better, if you will." He added, "It's just like workin' out any type of muscle but learning how to breathe correctly and all that stuff. You know, I just started doing vocal lessons a couple of years ago, so I think I've got a lot of stuff to learn."

Thomas released his first-ever Christmas collection, Merry Christmas, Y'all, in October and the EP included his versions of four-holiday classics. When the album came out, he said, "I love everything about Christmas–there's nothing like the holiday season. I wanted to record some of the Christmas songs that my family and I enjoy every year. I hope this music gets everyone in the holiday spirit!"

Merry Christmas, Y'all Track List:

1. "Winter Wonderland"
2. "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year"
3. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
4. "It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas"
